ISO-13485 and ISO-9001 Accreditation
All Entech Electronics processes and procedures are fully documented and follow either ISO-9001 or ISO-13485 series accreditation:
- ISO-9001:2015 – The design, manufacture, test and supply of electronic equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies. Also the design and supply of printed circuit boards and membrane switch assemblies.
ISO-13485:2003 – The manufacture, test and supply of electronic equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies.
These certifications play a key part in assuring product trace-ability, process uniformity, and conformity to customer specification.
Both of Entech’s manufacturing plants are registered UL plants. Each plant is audited on multiple occasions each year by UL, to ensure critical practices and material management procedures are operating effectively.
The Entech Electronics group of companies train staff to, and apply the appropriate IPC standards according to type of product and individual customer requirements.
Some of the applicable standards are:
IPC-A-600 PCB acceptance standard
IPC-A-610 PCA acceptance standard
- IPC-A-620 acceptance standard
IPC-6012 qualification and performance specification for rigid PCBs
IPC-2615 PCB dimensions and tolerance testing
IPC-TM-650 test methodologies
IPC-4101 specifications for base materials for rigid and multilayer PCBs
Products designed and/or manufactured by Entech’s specialist defence electronics division, often need to comply with strict military standards.
We’re often required to construct and execute project management plans for such devices, which includes everything from environmental standard certification, manufacturing plans with designated responsible persons for project management, quality and ILS.
